The championship returned to Pune after 2012 and was hosted by Poona Golf Club and held on 17th and 18th February at the lovely 18-hole Poona Club Golf course that spreads over 95 acres. It saw the participation of players from four leading golf clubs in Western India, namely, United Services Club (USC), Bombay Presidency Golf Club (BPGC), The Willingdon Sports Club (WSC) and Poona Club Golf, making it the biggest amateur golf event in Maharashtra.
