Raekwon of the Wu-Tang Clan launching new wine

As Wu-Tang Clan celebrates the 25th anniversary of their iconic 1993 debut album, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), Raekwon is expanding the brand with a new wine, primarily for their female fans.

“I have a wine coming out in a couple of days that’s called Licataa, and my wine is driven toward women,” Raekwon tells ABC Radio. “I was thinking about the ladies and to be able to sit down and have a glass of wine and think about Wu-Tang Clan.”

Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) is certified triple platinum, and the hit single from the album, “C.R.E.A.M.,” is certified gold. Raekwon says the “C.R.E.A.M.” video made the group very popular with the ladies.

“RZA’s wife, and RZA of course, was pretty much spearheading that whole thing, and it was dope,” the Chef says. “It was something to give back to the women ’cause we know today women is in power, and we respect it.
