Peabody Segment Performance For Q1 Of 2019

In the first quarter, the seaborne thermal segment sold 2.6 million tons of export thermal coal at an average realized price of USD 80.40 per short ton, with the remainder sold under a long-term domestic contract. Export volumes increased 24% over the prior year largely resulting from stronger operating performance at the Wambo complex, in part due to the absence of a current-quarter longwall move at the Wambo underground mine.
