Residents of Italy’s Vatican City consume more wine than any other country in the world. According to statistics released by California’s Wine Institute, residents drink 74 liters of wine per person a year, which is double the per-capita consumption of Italy as a whole. A standard bottle of wine is 0.75 liters.
