This year we might have to rethink how we do gettogethers. Perhaps we feel safer in the open air and perhaps our budgets only allow for something as basic as a hotdog. But whether it is a year-end event, office party, birthday bash or holiday do, use our sausage and sauce combos for a party with pizzazz!
We’re trying to bump up the normal hotdog or boerie with a few go-to flavour combinations and wine pairings that will please everyone – from the sensible to the adventurous!
Get the basics from the supermarket or try our recipes to make your own. Keep it as easy or make it as intricate as you want, but do go for the onion rings (click here) and we definitely recommend it with a glass of your favourite Leopard’s Leap wine!

- Pork sausage with tomato chutney & Leopard’s Leap Unwooded Chardonnay
- Boerewors with chakalaka & Leopard’s Leap Pinotage
- Frankfurter dressed up with cucumber or apple & Leopard’s Leap Shiraz
- Curry dog with atchar & Leopard’s Leap Chenin Blanc. Or if you like something sweeter with spicy food, try our Lookout Semi Sweet!
