Riebeek Valley Olive Festival Returns In May With Exciting New Activities

Postponed due to Covid-19

The much-loved Riebeek Valley Olive Festival will be held on 9 and 10 May 2020.  Olive and wine producers in Riebeek Kasteel and Riebeek West will open their homes, cellars and hearts to visitors, inviting you to taste and know the valley and its abundant produce.  Immerse yourself in the ultimate Riebeek Valley experience.

Join us in savouring award-winning olive oils, olives and olive preserves, five-star wines, craft beers, colourful local culture and all the valley have to offer, including character restaurants, art galleries, locally produced clothing, craft and gift shops, performing artists and street musicians. Pure Riebeek Valley Magic at its best.

We have introduced an array of masterclasses in olive oil tasting and wine appreciation, long table lunches, walks in the olive groves and vineyards and lots more.  There will be something for everyone.

You could enjoy an intimate long table experience with one of your favourite winemakers/producers where Riebeek Valley ‘farm to table’ deliciousness will be paired with exceptional local wines.

The R150 Passport ensures 2 days of access to all the participating venues, a branded wine glass memento and 3 wine tastings. Masterclasses and long tables are not included in the passport. Booking is essential. Ticket sales will open 10 February on www.webtickets.co.za.

The participating venues are: Meerhof Winery, Kloovenburg Wine and Olive Estate, Olive Boutique, Riebeek Valley Wine Co. and Allesverloren.

There is no transport available this year.
