Rietvallei JMB Cabernet Franc 2015
Rietvallei JMB Cabernet Franc is a full-bodied, complex wine with excellent fruit and wood integration. Lots of work in the vineyard and minimal interference in the cellar allows this wine to express its terroir to the fullest. On the palate, the black current and plum flavours persist, backed and well complimented by the toasty oak flavours from the 24-month new oak aging. This wine will go perfectly with game or your favourite beef cut straight off the grill.
Rietvallei Shiraz, Petit Verdot, Viognier 2016
The 2016 vintage is a blend of 69% Shiraz, 28% Petit Verdot and 3% Viognier. The wine is intense ruby red coloured and complex, expressing flavours of berry fruit, ground pepper spice and peachy fruit. The palate is filled with berry fruit and the peppery, spicy and toasted oak flavours are well integrated. Pair this red blend with a pizza or pasta dishes.
