Yes, the 2020 Creation Rosé has just been released and it lives up to our wildest expectations. A delicate petticoat-pink, the wine is translucent and tempting in the glass, luring with the come-hither bouquet of a Madame Meilland rose and the freshness of sun-kissed berries. Profoundly chic yet playful on the palate: lush ripe raspberry laced with evocative hints of dried apple; racy white pepper flirting with the tiniest scoop of honey. All enlivened by the crisp acidity and savoury minerality characteristic of this cool-climate, maritime wine.
Beautifully aromatic with the delicacy and intensity of spring, our new Rosé comprises Grenache Noir and a dash of Viognier. The grapes were gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks to resemble the famous Provençal style of Rosé. It is refreshingly dry with a relatively low alcohol content of 12.5%. The complexity of the wine makes it an exceptionally versatile food partner: perfect with canapés but equally suited to be served with starters, mains and desserts.
