Greetings from the GETWINE News desk.
We interrupt your schedule to bring you a special news bulletin.
We have just received word of a major wine special approaching your area. Reports indicate that the source of the special is indeed the outskirts of Wellington and our correspondents can confirm that Andreas Wine Estate has been implicated.
The culprit is a very small batch, the very last 320 cases to be precise, of an impeccable Shiraz produced by Andreas Estate in the year 2014. A reliable source, aka the Platter 2018 Guide awarded this wine with four stars and describes this wine as follows: Big, ripe & generous 2014 bursts with sweetly black fruit on silky tannin structure. Bright aromas linger to satisfying finish. Ready to drink now but should cellar well. Also in 1.5L.
In an almost unbelievable turn of events, this wine which usually retails around R220 to R230 per bottle is being sold by SA’s favourite wine portal for just R149. An absolute steal! And what’s more is that the Shiraz’s 1.5L magnum counterpart is also believed to be in on it all with a price that is just as shocking at R299 as opposed to its regular price of R395.
For your own safety and the safety of those around you we advise you to keep calm and proceed with your order to avoid any unnecessary disappointment.
