For the past three years an illustrious fashion designer has been invited to add their own distinctive signature to a special edition Chivas 18 bottle. Vivienne Westwood has become the latest designer to create an adornment for this iconic whisky, illustrating her unparalleled reputation for design excellence and pattern cutting expertise.

The special edition Chivas 18 Vivienne Westwood is luxuriously enveloped in a unique silk three-piece coat. With the current design of the Union Flag dating back to 1801 and Chivas Brothers roots also being traced back to this iconic year, the distinctive bottle proudly appears cloaked in Vivienne Westwood’s Union Jack print, as first seen in a Gold Label collection in Paris.

Dame Vivienne Westwood said: “I am English, so it is impossible for me to ignore British culture in my designs. It is really very satisfying to interpret some of my designs into other mediums beyond fashion.”

Chivas Regal 18 Year Old by Vivienne Westwood has been released as a limited edition with only 2,500 bottles available internationally. Priced from US$495 duty free, the bottles are the third collaboration between Chivas Regal and the fashion world, having previously worked with designers Alexander McQueen and Christian Lacroix.
