At Creation Spring is gently and almost imperceptibly making her enchanting presence known again. Soon the warmer weather will conjure up that vital phase of bud burst in the vineyards – and smiles on the faces of our vineyard team! To celebrate this wonderful season of rejuvenation the Creation Culinary Team has created a ‘Magic of Spring’ Canapé Menu comprising six delectable courses matched with seven award-winning Creation wines. Crisp, locally sourced vegetables, home-grown herbs and a veritable bouquet of edible flowers such as sorrel, viola and pineapple sage enhance the meal, adding fresh spring flavour and colour.
Imagine the fluffiest of Bao Buns filled with a feast of Asian-spiced veggies … simply irresistible and made even more delicious by a glass of the vivacious Creation Viognier. Meat lovers will delight in the tender-as-marrow Beef Fillet served with Beetroot, King Oyster Mushroom, Thyme and Parsley and accompanied by some Creation Pinot Noir panache. Our famous Cauliflower Soup with Gorgonzola, Blueberries, Walnuts and Thyme finds its match in the beautiful berry bouquet of the Creation Merlot. And then for the sweet tooth there is a gorgeous Chocolate Macaron garnished with edible Flowers and Raspberry – sensational with the deeply fruity and spicy Creation Fine Cape Vintage.

Together with spring we also delight in welcoming Gerhard Bruwer, our new farm manager, and the new members of his team. We feel blessed to have such a dedicated team looking after our viticulture and wish them a long and happy stay with us. All good things take time.
