The Blanc de Blancs forms part of the exclusive range of expertly crafted Graham Beck MCC’s – superior quality sparkling wines produced in the age-old tradition, utilizing cutting edge techniques which result in wines with supreme finesse, consummate elegance and infinite appeal.

Produced from 100% Chardonnay, this delicious and versatile bubbly combines rich creamy aromas with hints of fresh lime on the nose. On the palate you can expect an exhilarating yet fine mousse with an explosion of juicy tangerines. Great brioche and yeast complexity broadens the palate leading to a long, elegant finish.

The fruit for this wine was hand selected from the limestone vineyards on Graham Beck’s Robertson estate. These vines benefit from the high natural lime content in the soil, which ensures a low pH and high natural acidity in the young base wines. Once in the state-of-the-art Méthode Cap Classique cellar whole bunch pressing ensures an even finer bubble.

Only the cuvée juice (premium quality juice) is selected for fermentation. Of the cuvée, 50% is fermented in specific Piece Champenoise 205 litre barrels to ensure richness and an extra dimension of flavour and creaminess. After fermentation the wine in barrel is selectively blended with other parcels of the very best stainless steel fermented Chardonnay. The final blended base wine is then bottled for the second fermentation with yeast contact of at least 36 months before degorgement. The Blanc de Blancs remains an undisputed favourite, a darling amongst the legion of Graham Beck bubbly fans and testimony to the outstanding Cap Classique terroir characteristics of the Robertson estate.

So, it appears then that princes, princesses and presidents all agree that Graham Beck MCC is indeed the bubbly to beat when it comes to toasting the good life and commemorating life’s most cherished highlights.
