Tears and tequila flowed at Adam Levine`s wedding to SA Model

When Maroon 5’s Adam Levine and Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo got engaged last summer, a source says, the pair plotted to make their July 19 nuptials in Los Cabos, Mexico, “the most fun wedding ever.”

It didn’t disappoint. The extravaganza boasted stars (Levine’s childhood pal Jonah Hill officiated), stellar performances (Stevie Nicks!) and lots of emotion. According to one attendee, after Levine, 35, and his Marchesa-clad bride, 25, exchanged vows, the 300 guests “erupted into cheers!”

The first dance was a tearjerker. At the elegant reception (think: trees draped in lights and thousands of candles), Nicks serenaded the duo. Then Prinsloo sang Bright Eyes’ “First Day of My Life” to her husband.

The rock star’s own gig was more raucous. After dinner (tuna filets and grilled veggies), he performed “What I Got” with Sublime With Rome. Says a source, “It turned into a dance party!” The free-flowing liquor – margaritas and tequila shots! – fueled the bash past midnight. Says the source, “Everyone wanted to see this wedding through to the end!”
