La Motte Chardonnay is the perfect white wine for cooler weather. With beautiful fruity nectarine and refreshing citrus blossom on the nose, the elegant 2020.
La Motte Chardonnay has a subtle richness and oak-derived flavours of cashew and freshly-baked bread. The palate is polished with a delicious follow-through, a lively length and fresh finish. It is a delightful glass on its own, but a very versatile partner to food.
As part of our Winter Wine Tasting offering, you can now stay for a delicious soup of the day, served with farm-baked bread at R85. Available from 26 May, the first soup on the menu is a hearty Porcini and Jerusalem Artichoke soup that makes for a harmonious combination with the 2020 La Motte Chardonnay.

Pappardelle is generous pasta strips about 5cm wide, an easy shape when you make your own pasta at home. We toss the pasta with roasted cubes of butternut, soft cheese and pumpkin seeds. Pretty perfect on its own or as a side dish, but an absolute delight when served with a glass of 2020 La Motte Chardonnay.
