The CT Food Challenge team has moved away from burgers, our February theme, to focus on picnics, our March theme. While the weather’s still warm and the world pretty (is it corny if I say ‘winter is coming’????), we decided to head outdoors for a bit and explore some of the very best picnic spots in and around Cape Town. We certainly are blessed with the most wondrous locations (wine country ahoy), but with follower votes and a little research, we’ve come up with a list of our chosen picnic spots. And first on the list? Hartenberg Wine Estate, the gorgeous hidden gem in the Stellenbosch area.
