Current Covid-19 regulations rule out the pleasure of onsite wine tasting. Undaunted by this challenge, and always at the forefront of innovation, the Creation team now brings you a novel way of tasting their award-winning wines at home with the guidance of a knowledgeable Creation Personal Shopper.
“Wine tasting is an integral part of the Creation experience and it would be a pity to deny our clients the opportunity,” explains Carolyn Martin. “We therefore put our heads together and designed an exciting Creation Wine Tasting Kit. To enjoy a tasting, you simply have to order a kit and set up a date and time with a Creation Personal Shopper.
”The kit comprises 6 x 50 ml samples and includes the Creation Sauvignon Blanc, the Creation Chardonnay, the Creation Grenache Noir, Viognier blend, the Creation Pinot Noir, the Creation Merlot and the Creation Syrah, Grenache blend. Samples of the Creation Reserve and Art ranges are available at a surcharge of R30 for the Reserve range and R50 for the Art range.
Here’s how it works: once you’ve placed your order, you’ll receive an email requesting you to select the Creation Personal Shopper of your choice to conduct your tasting via Zoom. Times of the virtual tasting will be confirmed with your personal shopper who will send you a dedicated Zoom link prior to the tasting. Should you want to taste additional wines in the Creation portfolio, feel free to discuss this with your personal shopper.
It’s as simple as that and promises to be great fun! In fact, the Creation Virtual Wine Tasting is also ideal for online conferences and corporate client entertainment.
The cost of the 6 x 50 ml tasting kit is R425, including a Creation Wines Flavour Wheel Chart. Orders will be delivered door-to-door within 5 – 7 working days and delivery in South Africa is FREE. Alternatively, you can collect your kit from the estate by appointment. Creation strictly adheres to the Covid-19 protocol relevant to Stage 3 and ask you to observe that too when visiting. Creation Opening Times
Local clients and those visiting Hermanus over the long weekend are offered the opportunity of ordering wine today online or via a Personal Shopperor by calling+27 28 212 1107 and their wine will be delivered on Friday or Saturday. The delectable Creation Cocoon Menu – including perfectly paired wine – is also available for ordering and will be delivered to your doorstep from Monday to Saturday. Creation will be closed on Sunday and Tuesday (public holiday) due to Government regulations.
Alternatively, you can enjoy the scenic drive up to Creation and pop in (by appointment) to collect your wine and food from Monday to Saturday between 10h00 and 16h30. Order your takeout dinner hereand indicate whether it should be delivered or whether you will collect.
