Vegas bartender breaks cocktail Guinness World Record

The Guinness World Record for the most cocktails made in one hour has been broken by a swift Las Vegas bartender, who created 1,559 drinks in just 60 minutes.

Erik Mora of the Spearmint Rhino Gentleman’s Club in Las Vegas shattered the previous record of 1,003 drinks set by New York bartender Sheldon Wiley in 2011.

To gain the title Mora was required to pour drinks that contained a minimum of three ingredients, one of which must be alcohol, without repeating a cocktail.

Supported by an army of helpers who simply provided ice-filled glasses, spirits and mixers, Mora managed to pour one cocktail every two seconds.
