WINCHESTER’S wine enthusiasts have reported a very successful August.

The recent meeting of the Winchester Winemakers’ Circle saw them turn their hand to `judging, with a good selection of bottles provided by members.

The wines were rotated around tables with each bottle marked out of 30, paying attention to the clarity and bouquet of the wine as well as its taste, before members gave feedback on each.
