The face of vodka is set to adopt a set of bunny ears, as Playboy Enterprises gears up to launch a super-premium Playboy Vodka with Philippines producer VuQo.

Set for launch in late 2013, Playboy Vodka will be a luxury spirit available exclusively in Australia and Asia, including Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

Produced in the Philippines by VuQo, which makes VuQo Vodka, the world’s only coconut-distilled vodka, Playboy Vodka is described as a “smooth and crisp” spirit that will “appeal to both Playboy and Vodka enthusiasts alike”.

“We are excited to partner with VuQo to bring a one-of-a-kind premium vodka and another facet of the Playboy world to Asian consumers,” said Matt Nordby of Playboy Enterprises. “Playboy seeks to align with partners that bring the right mix of market knowledge and a passion for growing brands. We’re looking forward to working with VuQo to launch Playboy Vodka later this year.”

As well as being a pornography magazine and the operating name for a string of clubs, the Playboy brand appears on hundreds of consumer products in 150 countries worldwide.
