Chanel partners with Karl Lagerfeld to release wine

Did you know that Chanel owns a winery? Me neither.

Château Rauzan-Ségla was founded by Pierre de Rauzan in 1661, and it was purchased by the luxury retailer in 1994. The Margaux-based winery produces two wines — the Château Rauzan-Ségla and the Ségla.

In celebration of the 350th anniversary of the winery and the exceptional 2009 vintage, Chanel enlisted Lagerfeld to design the bottle label for the current vintage of the Château Rauzan-Ségla. The label depicts the Château.
