Bacon hearts for the hopelessly romantic

Bring a touch of romance to your morning fry-up with these little bacon hearts.

How to make them:


  • Bacon


  • Cut two rashers of back bacon in three lengthways and arrange them in heart shapes on a baking tray.
  • Secure the ends with toothpicks if necessary, and
  • cook in the oven at 200C, fan 180C, gas 6 for 10-15 minutes.
  • Serve on a bed of scrambled eggs.
