How To Make A Red Wine Spritz Mocktail

With autumn upon us, many of us have been hit with the realisation that it’s time to put the Aperol back on the shelf in favour of the richer flavours of winter.

The Red Wine Spritz is a fresh take on two of our favourites, adding a fruity touch to a winter staple. This mocktail offers all of the complexities of a wine cocktail without the alcohol.

Ingredients

  • 3 strawberries, cut in half
  • 4-5 blueberries
  • 1/2 teaspoon of honey
  • juice of half a lime
  • 2/3 cup de-alcoholised red wine
  • 1/3 cup soda water
  • 1 sprig of mint

Instructions

  1. Combine the honey and lime juice in a glass and stir to combine.
  2. Add strawberries, blueberries and toss with honey and lime mixture.
  3. Pour in your Edenvale Sparkling Shiraz and then the soda water.
  4. Top with a sprig of mint and serve!
