Is this the end of red wine teeth?

Red wine is considered a sophisticated drink of choice, but the stains it often leaves on teeth can make for awkward social situations.

To rectify this issue, a pharmaceutical company has come out with Wine Wipes, hydrogen peroxide wipes that claim to get rid of red stains, with an orange blossom flavor that keeps them from having a chemical aftertaste.

According to the beauty director at Refinery29, the wipes do indeed remove the redness, but they also have the not-so-party-friendly side effect of rubbing off lipstick in the process.

Wine Wipes, which bear the tagline ‘Wipe that wine off your smile’, are manufactured by Borracha and cost $6.95 for a pack of 12.

According to the brand’s website, the taste of the wipes ‘is specifically designed to cleanse the palate without interfering with tasting.’
