Packaging Spotlight: Cuvée 3000

These bottles of cuvée speak volumes without words. Spanish wine retailer Cuvée 3000 collaborated with Babau de Les Cabories to create a limited edition trilogy of white wine bottle labels — this minimalistic droplet cut-out design being the first of the three.

The label attempts to form an icon for the Cuvée 3000. The cleverly simple design does not require overpowering printing of the name of the wine, brand, place of origin or any other descriptions. Rather, its blank-slated minimalist look grasps attention and raises curiosity. The droplet, though it isn’t the official logo of Cuvée 3000, puts a simple icon to the company’s name. It also makes consumers anticipate what the other two designs for this limited edition trilogy will look like.
