Bourbon Spiced Cinnamon Rolls

Tea time isn’t complete without a decadent dessert to soak up the warm, soothing drink. Serve these Bourbon spiced cinnamon rolls at your next tea party.


For the dough:
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon active dry yeast
¼ cup bourbon
85g granulated sugar
2 eggs (at room temp)
620g flour
1 tablespoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon nutmeg
¼ teaspoon allspice
115g unsalted butter, at room temp.
1 teaspoon salt

For the filling:
115g unsalted butter, melted
115g sugar
115g brown sugar
1 tablespoon orange zest
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon lemon zest
½ teaspoon allspice
¼ cup bourbon

For the frosting:
55g unsalted butter, very soft
2 cups powdered sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons bourbon
