Fleur du Cap launches own range of exotic salts at Die Bergkelder

Taking its cues from nature, the Fleur du Cap team at Die Bergkelder has assembled a collection of fine artisanal salts from the far corners of the earth for its brand new range of Exotic Salts, now available for purchase from this famous Stellenbosch mountain cellar.

Offering the perfect stocking filler, gift for friends or memento to remember your Winelands experience by, each of the eight Fleur du Cap Exotic Salts comes in its own nature inspired, craft paper box.

From indigenous Khoisan and Oryx Desert salt to more exotic Caviar, or Red Alaea and Black Lava salt from Hawaii, pink Murray River Salt from Down Under and rare Persian Blue Salt from Iran, even salt aficionados will find a favourite to take home.

For those who enjoy making a statement, Kala Namak Salt with its signature whiffs of sulphur will certainly do the trick.

Fleur du Cap wines lend themselves perfectly to pairings with nature’s gift of unrefined salts. Using locally sourced savoury treats, prepared by traditional methods such as curing with salt, the Fleur du Cap tasting experience accentuates the inherent flavours of each superbly balanced wine. These tastings are available daily, from Mondays to Fridays between 09h00 and 17h30 or Saturdays between 09h00 and15h30 at R75 per person.
