`Game of Thrones` star to open brewery in Detroit

Jason Momoa is in the process of turning a 100-year-old former General Motors plant into the Motor’s City’s newest beer hall.

Could a former Dothraki king help turnaround Detroit’s beleaguered national image?

Jason Momoa, who starred as the Dothraki Khal Drogo in “Game of Thrones,” has revealed that he’s setting up shop in the Motor City with plans to open a 9,000 square foot brewery in a 100-year-old former General Motors plant. The 35-year-old fell in love with the region while filming “Batman v Superman” in the recently-confirmed role of Aquaman.

“The man is a monster,” director Zack Snyder recently said in an interview. “The guy is awesome and he’s so passionate. I was hanging out with him here in Detroit and he was loving on it so hard. He’s a great guy, but like I said, not a small individual.”
