Moscow Mule Doughnut Holes

The classic Moscow Mule is defined by punchy ginger beer, fresh lime, and vodka—so are these doughnut holes! The sweet batter is flavoured with freshly grated ginger and lime zest for a tart note and complemented with a gin-infused glaze to coat.


  • 1 1/4 cups cake flour (sifted)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger (grated or 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 1/2 milk
  • 1 egg (lightly beaten)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons melted butter


  • 1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon vodka (this can be left out)
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 1 teaspoon mint (chopped fine)


Preheat your doughnut hole/cake pop makerIf you do not have one, feel free to use a mini muffin pan and your oven at425F.

Spray with non-stick spray or grease how you normally do.
