Keep your cool with South Hill’s Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé

I chose my handbag because it conveniently has enough space to hold two bottles of wine. This is amazingly useful when visiting friends or restaurants, or simply when you have a lovely moment that deserves a good glass of wine.
Recently I discovered my new handbag wine: South Hill’s Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé. Admittedly, I’m a bit of a tart for a good Rosé, but this one is just smashing. At only 50 bucks a bottle you get a blast of strawberry flavours, pleasing dryness and peachy, tropical zest. It’s 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and made of  grapes which were lovingly grown to become Rosé (as opposed to the wine being made from ‘bled juice’,  which is a by product of red wine making).
Even those who don’t usually enjoy Rosé should give it a bash; it’s fresh and full of happy flavours. Never mind ice lollies and umbrellas; this wine will keep you cool in Summer.
PS – I discovered that there’s a handbag specifically designed to hold a wine bottle. A truly worthy designer, Claudia Eicke, created this French goatskin wonder that sells for over €1,000. You can read more about it here.
