British Airways delivers an early Christmas surprise

Christmas has come early for anyone wanting to fly to London in style this festive season, with British Airways offering over 40% off on its Club World fares.
The year-end sale sees the price of business class seats cut to R32 014 on its direct flights from Johannesburg and Cape Town. The airline offers double-daily services to London from both cities.
Customers wishing to transfer to other UK and European destinations can add these to their itinerary.
The sale starts on Tuesday 2 December and runs until Thursday 4 December for travel between 2 December 2014 and 28 February 2015.
“Whether you’re planning a little Christmas shopping in London, a surprise visit to see friends or family, or just want to tick your bucket list, you’ll struggle to find a better, direct, business class fare,” says Sue Botes, British Airways trade manager for Southern Africa.
She recommends that anyone wanting to book do so as soon as possible as seats were likely to be snapped up quickly.
British Airways’ award-winning Club World cabin offers more than just flat beds. The menus and wine lists are carefully considered to ensure that these deliver the best taste experience at altitude – a concept the airline calls Height Cuisine. Innovations such as the Club Kitchen, allow customers to help themselves to snacks after the main meal service.
On the ground the Club World Galleries Lounge in Terminal 5 offers light meals, a silver wine bar and 20-seat cinema. Customers can also use the Terminal 5 arrivals lounge as well as access a global network of British Airways’ and partner lounges.
