Our new tastings have been announced and tickets are selling fast

Our tastings in Johannesburg and Cape Town for the upcoming months are ready to be booked. Local and international wines can be tasted depending on the theme of the evening with some of the tastings hosted by the winemakers themselves.

Highlights will include

  • 2015 Sadie Family Releases (R375) – JHB: 20 August
  • Mullineux & Leeu: New Single Vintage Vineyards and Vintage Variation (R375) – JHB: 24 August; CT: 9 September
  • Portugal: The Douro Boys and Beoynd (R300) – JHB: 2 September; CT: 2 September
  • Burgundy 2013 Reds: An Intriguing and Distinctive Vintage (R595) – JHB:17 Septmber; CT: 16 September
  • Bordeaux 2012: A Classic Merlot Year? (R595) – JHB: 1 October; CT: 30 September
  • Burgundy 2013 Whites: A Classic and Excellent Vintage (R595) – JHB: 7 October; CT: 7 October

We also look forward to a tasting with ‘Crazy Koen’ of Spioenkop tomorrow evening in Cape Town (R225 p/p). In our view, Koen produces the finest Riesling in the country as well as a leading 5-Star Pinotage and some of the most European-styled wines around. He will guide you through his wines and pit them against a smart selection from France. This event is rated PG 18!
