What are the things that influence you most in your winemaking?

The traditions of winemaking, especially in Europe, where generations and generations have made wine. Here in Haskell it’s a respect for the specific terroir of our vineyards and how this is represented in the wines.

The University of Stellenbosch.

What excites you about the wine industry at present?

The quality of the wine being produced, the levels of excellence and precision utilised in winemaking and the fact that the world is looking at what we do.
