Extra security measures at Solms-Delta

We all know how friendly our security guards are and what a fine job they do liaising with the public. They are the first members of the Solms-Delta team to welcome our guests with a smile, and the last to wave them good bye as they leave. With all the focus on friendliness, it was a surprise to find that a small Cape Cobra had decided to take up residence alongside the security office; as this was not the sort of greeting we wanted for our visitors as they parked their cars. Perhaps the snake thought our security needed a little more muscle (or venom), or maybe it was simply a cool place to be? Either way this is not where we wanted it to reside.

Johan, our resident snake-catcher, promptly removed what one guest described as a “little green snake”, as though he is small, he is still deadly poisonous  He will be released far from guests and guards, thus allowing our security guards to return to their posts and continue being the friendly chaps we know them to be.
