Fresh from playing a show in New Zealand, Fokofpolisiekar is back with the good stuff.

The Dagdronk Blonde Ale and Antibiotika India Pale Ale proved to be smash hits and now the Hemel Op Die Platteland Amber Ale is here to warm up winter for beer lovers.

Hemel Op Die Platteland is brewed in the Amber Ale style.

It is an amber medium body beer, infused with a Rooibos tea. It shows tones of caramel, cream, nuts and dried fruit.

All of Fokofpolisiekar’s beers are bottle fermented, which means it is bottled with sugar, and active yeast, just like a Champagne and MCC “Method Cap Classique”. These cause light sediment at the bottom of the bottle, and gives the beer a great ageing potential and ability.
