These 375ml unpretentious, local, quality wines are available in the following variants: Little Dry Red, Little Dry White and Little Big Blush. The bottles portion to two and a half glasses of wine per bottle – depending on who’s pouring.
From the creators of Wine Flies Wine Tours; Little Big Wines was established in 2014 when the first high quality Red Blend was bottled. Little Dry Red is big on taste and was specifically blended for its aroma and unique finish. This wine is oak matured for 14 months and has a cheeky nose of spice, dark fruit and a hint of smoky cigar box. You’ll find a soft tannin structure on the palate and a flavourful, lingering after taste. This wine is perfect for braais and best paired with meaty dishes.
Little Dry White is a very unique wine with an unusual blend of Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay and Viognier. It was specifically selected for its complexity, delivering a crisp and fresh entry to the palate with notes of lemon, guava and kiwi. You’ll be surprised by the soft hint of vanilla that was developed through subtle oak maturation. Enjoy your Little Dry White with a rich cheese, seafood and crisp summer greens.
Little Big Blush is a delightfully fragrant Pinotage Rose with a soft coral hue. This special wine reveals tones of candy floss, strawberries and raspberries on the nose, finishing with a dry and slightly crisp palate. A firm summer favourite – you’ll love pairing this wine with summer salads, seafood, fresh fruit or chocolates.
The recommended retail price for Little Big Wines is R29.95 per bottle but customers can expect to pay anything between R45.00 and R60.00 at selected bars and restaurants.
