According to Wine-Searcher, there’s no doubt that wine buyers are still seeking out high ratings from the world’s most powerful critic. Other writers such as James Suckling and Jancis Robinson certainly influence demand, but Parker has the unique ability to move the market overnight, and there is a clear connection between a high Wine Advocate score and a wine’s price.
