Recently I was lucky enough to spend a very festive Saturday drinking an intriguing bubbly that hails from the Durbanville winelands: Diemersdal’s Sparkling Sauvignon Blanc. Now, Diemersdal has a reputation for producing damn fine Sauvignon Blanc, so the prospect of a fizzed up, party version sounded like just the ticket.
At first the label caught my eye: ooooh, so shiny and pretty! After popping open the bottle and eagerly pouring a glass, BAM! I was smitten. This bubbly delivers a whack of granadilla flavours. Seriously, I felt like I was in a happy passion fruit blitz. Ah, such fresh fruity tropical joy! What bliss!
