The Nel family of Boplaas Family Vineyards held a vertical tasting to showcase how well their Cape Portuguese table wines can stand their ground against the top guns of Portugal.

Also in the line-up was a range of older Boplaas Cape Vintage Reserve Ports to show how well these Ports can age.

In the line-up was the 1985, 1996, 2006 and current vintage 2012, followed by a food-and-wine pairing prepared by executive chef Stefan Marais at Jonkershuis Eatery, Groot Constantia Estate.
