The Boplaas Stoepsit Bistro excelled at the annual Klein Karoo Gourmand Awards (Smulpaap – toekennings) scooping up the 2017 Gourmand Destination Award in the category Bubbling Under – for up-and-coming new businesses.  The awards took place on the 16th of March at the Village Trading Post.

The criteria for this award are consistent good quality food, a great atmosphere and service.  Bistro Manager Isabel van Wyk was in attendance to receive this award.

Boplaas Family Vineyards in Calitzdorp is a great destination for the whole family.  The Bistro offers a wide selection of local produce on the menu – with a range of wines to enjoy at cellar door prices.

Cocktails from the range of small-batch distillery range which include brandy, gin and whisky are available to enjoy.  There is a play area for the children. Local produce of jams, conserves and dried fruits is also available for purchase from the tasting room.

The range of table wines, Port wines and Distillery range is available for tasting and purchase in our tasting room.
