Entertaining with Fairview Cheese

The extremely talented girls from The Pretty Blog has done it again. Our brief to them was to use our cheeses in an interesting and unique way, not only did they do this, but they have also managed to make it look tremendous! They created easy-to-do canapés that will impress your friends and leave them begging for more! Thank you for these lovely ideas and beautiful images.

100% Goat Milk Camembert

We served the deliciously ripe Fairview Goats Camembert. To bake: Score the top of the cheese, poke thinly sliced garlic in the holes, top with fresh thyme, drizzle with a little olive oil and bake on an ovenproof plate for 10 minutes at 180°C. We served it with homemade Parmesan biscuits.

Fairview Blue Tower

Another classic is baby Waldorf salads.  Arrange small baby butter lettuce leaves on a plate. Put thinly sliced Granny Smith apple, thinly sliced celery and roughly chopped walnuts into the leaves. Crumble some Fairview Blue Tower on top of the apple and celery, and finally mix some lemon juice with a good quality mayonnaise and drizzle over the leaves. To eat, use the lettuce leaf as a wrap and pop the whole lot into your mouth.
