GUILFORD – Calling all musicians, dancers, actors and other performing artists! The Guilford Performing Arts Festival has begun accepting applications for performers and workshop facilitators for the 2019 festival, which will take place in some 20 venues in and around downtown Guilford from Sept. 26 to 29.

Between 50 and 75 slots are available for performances and participatory events in music, dance and various forms of drama, including poetry and storytelling, stand-up comedy and literature readings. Venues include churches, the community center, the library, schools, dance studios, markets and restaurants, historic homes and barns, and a “big-top” tent on the green. Space will be provided for buskers throughout town.
